Ubisoft Gamelab Competition
Students get 10 weeks to deliver a playable prototype built around a theme, guidelines and constraints set by a jury of Ubisoft professionals. Two studio mentors per team, and $22,000 in scholarships on the line.
We won the 2018 edition with our own game Minors. Since 2021, I've been coming back every year as an official Ubisoft mentor.
My role is to help students achieve what they set out to do, give design advice, and get the best out of their ideas in the time they have.
